1 Objective
The objective of this programme is to integrate the different levels of Excel skills to help participants to perform automation of business tasks and do small-scale data analysis to help make business decisions and improve business processes.
2 Content
Module 1. Essential Business Excel Skills (30 hours)
This course aims to enhance students’ proficiency in Excel by reviewing the basic skills and introducing essential business operations that can be performed using Excel. Students will have a solid understanding of how to utilize Excel in common business scenarios at the end of the course.
Module 2. Excel VBA Business Applications (30 hours)
This course will equip students with VBA programming skills to automate routine tasks and processes. Starting from basic macros recording for simple tasks, students will progress to learn basic VBA programming for automating more complex processes at the end of the course and participate in a mini project.
Module 3. Business Analytics using Excel (30 hours)
The course will enhance students’ business decision-making skills by utilizing Excel to analyze data, identify trends and informed decisions. Students will gain hands-on experience in data manipulation, visualization and data analysis techniques through lab practice and a business application project.

3 Assessment
Assignments, Case Studies, Project and Final Exam.
4 Award of Certificate
To qualify for the award of 'Certificate in Excel for Business Applications', students are required to have an attendance rate of 70% or above in each course and have passed the assessment of each course.

• Application Fee of $150 (please refer to "Part B - Methods of Payment" listed in the Enrollment Form).
