1 Course Description
The course aims to familiarize participants with the format of IELTS and what it involves, with a strong focus on essential techniques and skills in the Academic Module of the IELTS test.
Emphasis will be placed on the drilling of four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and covering the usage of grammar and vocabulary specific to the IELTS test.
This course is particularly useful for those who need all-around training for advancing in the IELTS test and improving test scores.

2 Course Syllabus:
a. practical grammar and language items for use in IELTS;
b. feasible reading skills to cope with various question types of the reading paper;
c. different writing exercises to meet the requirements of reporting on diagrams and formulating argumentation;
d. peer speaking practice and evaluation with the instructor's guidance and feedback; and
e. focused listening exercises to handle both recorded monologues and conversations.
