Can I ask for more than two e-tickets for my family members and friends? Can I bring guests without admission tickets to attend the Ceremony?

A:

Due to the capacity restriction of the Hall, each graduate will be allocated a maximum of three e-tickets, inclusive of the one for the graduate. Each e-ticket admits one person and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Both graduates and guests are required to show the e-ticket (in electronic or printed form) at the entrances of CUHK campus and Sir Run Run Shaw hall.

Graduates who have successfully completed online registration before the deadline will receive the e-tickets from the School by email from 15 November 2024.

How long is the Ceremony?

It is about 60 minutes.

Q.3

What kind of gown is available at Victoria Uniform Company? If I have my own gown, can I use it instead of renting one from the company?

A:

Rental service of gowns in a style specified by the School is available at Victoria Uniform Company. All graduates are required to wear black gowns with different coloured silk edge that represents their Higher Diploma Programme.

Q.4

Is it necessary to pay HK$360 for deposit when I rent the gown? Does it include the rental fee of HK$95?

A:

All graduates have to pay HK$360 in cash for deposit when they rent a gown at Victoria Uniform Company in addition to a rental fee of HK$95 in cash (total: HK$455). EPS or credit card is not accepted. The deposit will be refunded provided that the gown is returned in good condition after the rental period of 14 days.

Is there anything I have to bring for renting a gown?

A:

Graduates have to bring along two copies of the Gown Deposit Form available at the website of Victoria Uniform Company and the student ID card to collect the rented gown at the chosen outlet. If you forget to bring the copies of the Gown Deposit Form, you may fill out a new form at the outlet.

If I will not attend the Graduation Ceremony, can I rent a gown?

Yes, you can make your own arrangement with Victoria Uniform Company. For details, please call their hotline at 2815 2983.

Q.7

Can I collect the gown from an outlet without completing the rental registration one day in advance?

A:

Yes, but this is not encouraged. Graduates who have registered in advance will be served in priority. Victoria Uniform Company does not guarantee that enough gowns will be available for walk-in graduates, who may have to pick up the gowns on another day.

Q.8

Can I change the time slot or outlet for gown collection after completing online registration?

A:

Graduates cannot change the choice of outlet for collecting and returning the gown once the online registration is completed. However, you can revise the gown rental dates which shall last for 14 days from 5 November 2024 (or after). On such occasion, you are not required to amend your registration online.  Please bring along two copies of the Gown Deposit Form (available on the website of Victoria Uniform Company) and the student ID card to the chosen outlet on the date of your preference. However, graduates who collect the gowns according to their reserved time period will be served in priority.
